WHAT IS THE ENERGY SAVING PROGRAM?

Energy Savings – Autonomy is a program designed to provide incentives for energy saving interventions and enhancement of energy autonomy in the residential building sector

The Exoikonomo program is an integrated intervention approach of energy saving, that is aiming to:

Reduce the energy needs of buildings and consumption of conventional fuels, that contribute to the deterioration of the greenhouse effect.
Saving costs for citizens, improving living conditions as well as the safety of citizens when using these buildings.
Achieving a cleaner environment.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

It is pointed out that the following criteria will be considered, at the process of Comparative Evaluation of applications:

Construction age
The energy upgrade rate
The degree days – the days of cold and extreme heat
Income criteria

COVID-19 Premium = a special 10% increase is added to the basic subsidy rate for all.
Energy premium = if an upgrade is achieved for buildings of energy class H and G to an energy category of at least B, an energy premium of +10% is added
For municipalities belonging to the lignite regions of Western Macedonia and Megalopolis, the basic subsidy rate is increased by 10%.

The limits of eligible costs include VAT

LIMITATION OF ONE APPLICATION PER RESIDENCE

For each eligible residence it must be submitted a single application at the current Exoikonomo Saving Program.
Households that have completed one of the previous cycles of the EXOIKONOMO PROGRAM (2014 – 2020), do not have the right to submit to the current program.

ABILITY OF MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS PER BENEFICIARY

It is possible, for each individual, to submit more than one application, for different eligible residences, without exceeding €100,000 in total aid.

SYSTEMS CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

The materials and systems that will be used for the interventions must have certification of their energy characteristics, CE marking, due to requirements of the program.

MAXIMUM LIMIT OF ELIGIBLE BUDGET

The eligible budget of interventions per property may not exceed :

48.500€ for apartment building application type A (individual Apartment or detached house)
76.270€ for apartment building application type B – Shared interventions

TO HAVE A VAT NUMBER AND A BANK ACCOUNT (APARTMENT BUILDING TYPE B)

TO HAVE AN ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE OF THE BUILDING THAT IS USED AS A RESIDENCE
